Hello! Welcome to Ivy's Day Off website! Every service dog team will always
get asked "Does your dog ever get time off?" Well, Canine Partners for Life, an organization that trains and places service dogs for people with disabilities, has started a fundraiser entitled "Dog's Day Off" to answer that very question!
With your help, Ivy met all of my goals and raised over $2,000 for my first Dogs Day Off in 2009!
It takes 2 years and costs $20,000 to raise and train a service dog. Ivy and I always want to give back to Canine Partners for Life and this seemed like a perfect opportunity. Ivy gets a day off and Canine Partners for Life gets the much needed money to help others gain independence offered by a service dog.
